Dr. R. Kumar is working as assistant professor in the department since October 2009. He was conferred doctoral degree by IIT Delhi for his work on desiccant cooling. His focus is on refrigeration & air-conditioning, renewable energy, and heat transfer. Prior joining to IIT Indore he was working for Tata Consulting Engineers Limited Mumbai.
